Lucifer was stull adjusting, but he had always been the type that could survive just about anywhere. And then of course this place had to go and give him the one thing that would make it even easier for him to adjust. Pretty much all of the people that he cared about was here with him, so making a home for himself here would as always be a piece of cake. Though he knew some of those very people he cared about had to have a hard time of it. So, he was determined to check in on them and make sure they were all okay. Of course he would put it under the guise, of catching up or what not. He couldn't have people knowing just how much he really cared about the people in his life. It would ruin his reputation after all. He was supposed to be the Devil after all. One of the first people he wanted to check on was Dan, because he understood better than most what the other man had been through. Having been trapped in hell himself and for a lot longer he knew what it was like for those that were sent there. And this was yet another problem he had the so called system, because Dan was certainly someone that hadn't deserved to be sent there. Had he made mistakes? Of course! Making mistakes was something it seemed that they all did, but he was certainly making up for them and he deserved better. And in this life Lucifer meant to make sure Dan got just that....no matter what he himself had to do to make that come about. Even with all of that Lucifer had still decided to do this under the guise of just catching up with his friend. So, he had sent Dan an email and asked him to meet for an early breakfast, so that the two of them could talk. He was pleased when his friend had said yes, and headed out right away since he had already been dressed. He had found this little tea shop he was rather fond off and that is where the two would be meeting. Lucifer quickly made his way inside once he had arrived, making sure to take a booth near the back. Normally he didn't mind being the center of attention, but this was something that didn't require an auidence. And now all he had to do was wait. |
