Dobby certainly wasn't too upset with his new surroundings. Nothing really bad had happened here so far, and he wasn't having to live alone. Certainly having people here that he knew had made the transition easier, and then there was the fact that most of the people he had met so far had been super nice to him. That was something new for him, because in his world his kind were mostly treated like second class citizens....sometimes even worse than that. But here things seemed to be different here for the most part. Sure some of the locals didn't seem too fond of the outsiders, but that wasn't really an issue for Dobby. They certainly didn't seem as hostile as the world he had came from, so he could handle it all. This morning though he woke up with a craving for a good pot of tea, so he decided to go out get some tea and do some shopping for supplies for the house. He wanted to do what he could to take care of his friends, but that wasn't really anything new for him. He had always been more of a caregiver. But for the time being he knew that the best thing he could do was make sure that everyone had everything that they needed. So, he had managed to find some of those reusable bags, because he knew it would be easier to carry everything that way and he headed out into the morning air. It was then that he realized that there might be something else he needed to shop for.....warmer clothes. But he knew that the first thing he wanted to do was go get some tea and perhaps have a pastry of some sort for breakfast. So, he headed down the streets, looking for an interesting place to stop. It didn't take him long to stumble across the Madison Valley Tea House. Deciding that this place sounded promising he made his way inside and was sure to have a look around for potential threats before finally making his way up to the counter. He ordered himself a couple of english breakfast tea and a sticky bun, and then made his way over to a table nearby. He sat down his purchases and then climbed up into the seat, his short little legs not reaching the floor once he had sat down. |
