He didn't say much else, but he did nod his head in appreciation of the fact that they seemed to hold his daughter in high esteem. In his eyes if anyone deserved it, Mia did. So, that made him respect Nick a little more. If he was able to see the worth in Mia then he couldn't be too bad of a guy. He watched as Nick left to get both his and his friend's food and he did find it a bit odd, but he chose to not say anything for the time being. But then when Nick returned and made his admission it suddenly made sense. So, she was his Alpha. Oliver may not know much about werewolves or wolves for that matter, but he did understand the concept of Alpha. To say Oliver was good at keeping his cool in situations like these would be a gross understatement. So, while his eyes did register a small amount of surprise there wouldn't be any other sign of him losing his cool. He however did allow himself a moment to process the new information. He had seen a lot in his time of people with powers and what those powers could do. "Well I suppose my only question would be....Is there any chance of you losing control and hurting my daughter?" he asked, showing his main concern. "Other than that I am not the type to judge based on what someone is born....I know better than most that it's not what a person is born with...or as for that matter, but what they choose to do with it that makes them who they are". |
