Who: Kendal Crane & Open What: Being terrorized by a camera crew When: Monday afternoon Where: Downtown shops Warnings: Language, maybe violence Status: Open/Ongoing
It was a gorgeous pre-fall day, and Kendal was setting out to enjoy it. She hadn't noticed anything immediately after leaving the house, it was as she getting closer to the downtown area that she realized she was being followed. It was only after she caught the van creeping slowly down the street behind her that she cursed herself for getting too relaxed in Madison Valley. She did her best not to look like she had noticed them, and just continued on her way, keeping track of her exits and which houses she could run to if things turned dangerous.
The terror really set in when she got to the shops though. She had just reached the first store when the door on the van slid open and what looked like a camera crew piled out rather gracefully for all the equipment they were carrying.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when some skinny guy with a backwards baseball cap came up to her and started talking. "Look, Kendal. Just keep things flowing and natural as you shop, but we need more than the b-roll we got while you were walking here. The on guard thing was gold though, really, keep that up. And remember to make comments about how much easier it is to find things in a civilized world while you're looking around. We'll do your confessionals between stores."
Kendal could only stare at him, confused and just a little scared. "What?" Yeah, she had no idea what was going on.
