WHO: Isaac Lahey and OPEN WHAT: Messing Up Walmart WHEN: Tonight WHERE: Walmart WARNINGS: Language? STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Isaac's life was actually going quite well. His relationship with Kate was sound, people from back home who he cared about were alive here, he had a job, and no real stresses in his life. He really couldn't complain. That wasn't to say he didn't sometimes, but really, things were good.
His job was closed on Monday so that they didn't have to pay the workers holiday pay. Cheap, but it was okay with Isaac. He liked having a three-day weekend. They'd probably have some sort of picnic somewhere where he could hang out with Kate and enjoy himself in a last hurrah before fall and colder weather set in.
His first mistake had been going to the store in the evening the night before Memorial Day. It was crowded with people buying picnic supplies and such. Walmart was annoying even when it wasn't jam packed, but when it was...well, it wasn't Isaac's favorite place. But he was here, so he might as well try to get through it while he could.
He'd only been bumped into a couple of times while he collected the few items he needed and made his way back towards the check-out. Just then, a woman with three kids who she was very clearly not in control of came at him way too quickly, leaving him just enough time to jump out of the way...and into a display of cereal boxes which toppled over into the aisle.
"Fuck," he said, and the woman gave him a look like "how dare you swear near my perfect angels" before leaving him to clean up the boxes all by himself. His eyes flashed yellow very quickly, but he got control and taking a deep breath to control the wolf inside, he got to work trying to clean everything up again.
