WHO: Cora Hale and OPEN WHAT: Getting coffee WHEN: Monday morning WHERE: Starbucks WARNINGS: TBD, probably STATUS: Open/Ongoing
In all honesty, Cora was not looking forward to having dinner with her uncle. Although Kitty seemed nice, she was in no mood to forgive him, and she didn't know if she ever would be. After all, he'd killed her sister in full blood. Maybe he had an excuse for that. Maybe he was different now. But that didn't change the fact that without him, Laura would still be alive. She'd lost too much family, and every one hurt. She didn't think that pain would ever fade. Did werewolves feel things deeper than humans? Maybe. She didn't know for sure. But she knew she wasn't in a good place to forgive. Not now.
Ever since her meeting with Kitty, she'd been a bit on edge. She'd backed herself into this meeting and was regretting that every moment. Her only hope was to make it as quick as possible, and hopefully talk about nothing important in the meantime.
Thankfully, the meeting wasn't today. It was still fairly early morning, and Cora had made her way out to run off some of her tension. She was sweaty and in her morning clothes when she ducked into Starbucks for a post-exercise coffee to get her through the rest of the day.
