Noah hadn't seen Scott in person yet and to him that was just unacceptable. Scott and Stiles had been friends so long that it was like having a second son and Noah had always been okay with it.....in fact he kind of liked it. He liked knowing that Stiles would always have someone that had his back....other than himself, of course. Even when Noah had found out the truth about Scott Noah had still cared deeply for boy, and he knew that Scott was still the same kid.....because Stiles still treated him the same. If there was one person Noah knew that he could trust their judgement in people it was Stiles. He always seemed to know when people were good at heart or when they had nefarious goals. And never once did Noah get the feeling from Stiles that he didn't trust Scott. So, Noah had put his faith in Scott many times, and more than once he had wished he didn't have to. It was just so much to put on the shoulders of someone so young, and Noah never wanted any of them to have to deal with what he dealt with on a daily basis. So, Noah was now determined to seek Scott out and check on the young man for himself. It was the only way he could be sure that Scott was alright...or at least as alright as he could be so far away from home and his mom with no way to get back to her. He knew how close the two of them had been, so it must be hard for Scott. With all of this in mind Noah picked up some burgers and fries for them before heading over to the address he had learned was Scott's. Normally he woudln't stop by unannounced like this, but he hadn't wanted to wait for a response from a message and he had wanted to surprise Scott with the meal and some quality time. So, take out bags and drink carrier in hand he somehow still managed to reach up and bump the door bell and then stepped back to wait on the younger man to answer the door. He certainly hoped Scott was home and that this hadn't been a wasted trip. |
