WHO: Logan Danvers and OPEN WHAT: Practicing throwing footballs WHEN: Thursday morning WHERE: The Park WARNINGS: TBD, probably low STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Logan had been pleased that the consensus among the other wolves seemed to be that it was okay for him to try out for football. As a werewolf, he had strength and energy to spare, and he was excited at the chance to find a new way to burn it off. Back home, he and his sister had tried to keep relatively low profiles, so trying out for sports wasn't a thing they did. Here, though, things were different. There were a lot of supernaturals here, and they were unusually open about it. So he was going to take the chance, and if anything bad happened, at least he had the pack on his side.
He'd come out to the park early to throw some footballs around. He wanted to try out for quarterback, and he knew he'd be good at it. He had a strong arm, great hand-eye coordination, and a fast mind. That was what was needed, wasn't it? He wasn't quite as outgoing or boisterous as his sister, but that didn't mean that he wasn't capable of leading in his own quiet way.
He picked up the football from where he'd dropped it last, being extra careful to get his grip on it perfect. Then he picked a place on a tree about a hundred yards away, and threw it with supernatural strength. Much to his pleasure, it spun perfectly, hitting the spot he'd chosen as directly as an arrow to the target....just as someone emerged from the woods within inches of where the football had struck.
"Crap!" He said, running quickly to grab his football. "I'm sorry! I didn't know you were there!"
