Bobby was used to having his time filled with cases of his own or researching cases for the boys, so with this much down time he was beginning to find himself a bit bored and stir crazy. So, he decided to get out for a bit and much to his surprise someone had offered to accompany him. He wasn't used to being around people outside of his little circle of hunter friends. It wasn't easy to get close to people when you had such a big part of yourself that you have to hide from others. And then the other reason he hadn't really been out is the loss of his wife...he just couldn't ever see himself having a normal life again, but now things were different. In this place he didn't have cases to distract himself from how lonely he was in this new world. Sure he had the boys and Pamela, but there was still something missing from his life.....and deep down he knew what that was. He missed having someone in his life....and while, yes his wife was still someone he cared for and missed she wasn't here. A part of him knew that the start of building a life here was making friends, so he had agreed to meet the person in the park for a stroll. He was already at the park sitting on a bench waiting for her to arrive. He was leaned back on the bench, watching the people as they passed by. He may not be a hunter anymore, but he still had the reflexes of one, so he was paying attention to his entire surroundings. |
