Hope shook her head. Her mom was probably a little biased. Okay, a lot biased, but weren't all parents when it came to their children?
The brunette offered a shrug of her shoulders. "I mean maybe I'm a little out of practice still. I mean most of the time I'm in uniform at the Salvatore school and fighting baddies like every other week." Considering what could end up on those clothes, Hope was not exactly too picky most of the time.

Hope accepted the Doc Martins, nodding in approval at the sight of the laces and buckles. "Uh, definitely more my style." Hope sat down and kicked off her sneakers, tugging on the boots and making sure they were laced up properly before standing and taking a few, far less confident steps than her mom had in her boots.
