WHO: Logan Danvers and OPEN WHAT: Taking a walk WHEN: This afternoon WHERE: The park WARNINGS: TBD, probably none STATUS: Open/Ongoing
There were only a few weeks left until school started back, and Logan was enjoying the days out in the woods, both in wolf form and in human form. There was something special about these last days of summer, almost like the feeling that it would soon be ending made every day that much more precious. It was also one of the reasons that he'd never want to be immortal - if your days would never end, how could each one be so precious? There would just be an endless glut of them until you grew bored with life and came to possess that ennui that was so common in vampires - who didn't even live forever.
Yeah, okay, so he was having serious thoughts for a teenage boy - he did take after his dad in some ways.
He was in human form right now, walking through the woods off trail. He'd completely ignored the sign for human hikers saying that this trail near the falls was dangerous - he was sure that he'd walked on far, far worse. And being a werewolf, he was surefooted and in touch with his surroundings in a way that humans weren't.
He'd been walking for some time when he became aware of footsteps behind him. They weren't particularly loud, but they were louder than a werewolf walked, and he stopped and turned to face them.
"Hello," he called. "I know you're there. And if you're human, you should probably turn back. You know, like the sign said."
