Logan saw his friend's expression and inwardly swore. "I'm sorry Elena." He touched Elena's arm and smiled at her. Logan always wondered how Elena hid that aspect of herself. Because, he found it hard enough hiding that part of his life from his family. Thankfully, since they weren't close, his family rarely asked questions outside of the general work and life questions. He knew they wondered how he paid for law school, but Logan said nothing.
He laughed. "Nick took me to buy some toiletries, and paid for some clothes, so I have two bags in his tiny house. I'll go grab them. That apartment feels so...dorm like." He shuddered.
