Elena smiled. "She makes him happy and, really, that is all that matters in the end." Of course encouraging Nick to settle down wasn't a bad thing either by any means.
At the question, Elena shook her head. "You were a psychologist actually. We pretended to be cousins for a while after I spaced myself out from the Pack. You were a good friend to me."
"It does, but I guess mostly they are allies and friends."
At the mention of the other pack, Elena nodded. "For the time being it is. Things have been shaky, but Scott and I have worked to keep the peace and so far, it is holding."
At his words, Elena frowned and stood up, moving to put a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Logan, but that does not change my opinion. I still want you to be Pack. I wish things had been different for you back home, but you're death does not change that you are family."
