Dean had been in the fucked up version of Madison Valley for over a week now, but he had no plans to give up. He was confident that Pam would somehow find a way to get them back to normal Madison. For so long he had hated the place, but now he couldn't wait to get back. He hadn't bothered to shave at all and he was starting to grow a decent beard, but he wasn't sure how he felt about it. He had gone to sleep that night on the plush king bed he had come to enjoy very much, and set the alarm for seven in the morning. When his eyes opened the next morning, he immediately sensed something was wrong. The bed felt different and that was definitely not the same ceiling. Dean moved to sit up and found himself between two females. One of them being Bo, while the other wasn't familiar to him at all. It wasn’t at all unusual for Bo to bring home folks she met at The Den for some fun and sometimes that included multiple people. A strip club was really an excellent feeding ground for a succubus. Sure, she had some regular friends with benefits that she could rely on, but it was in her nature to seek out new lovers. She was aware that the Dean currently in town wasn’t the one she’d previously hooked up with and that didn’t stop her from agreeing to a threesome with him and one of the new arrivals. Alex was a little on the young side, but she was hot and they definitely had a good time. When she woke up, she stretched and looked over at the other two people in her bed with a grin, wondering if they’d be up for another round this morning. “Morning,” she said. “Should I make coffee?” Humans needed their energy, after all. Alex’s thoughts on sex generally fell between ‘sure, why not’ and ‘I am doing this for survival’. She knew that outlook could not be described as healthy, but given who she dated, could she be blamed? However, once she arrived at Yale, she did not have time for sex. Between her attempts with keeping up with classes and the time spent on Lethe and solving Tara’s murder, sex fell by the wayside. So when Dean flirted with Alex, and she saw Bo, she decided she deserved a night of fun. The three of them definitely exhausted themselves. When she awoke the next morning, she noticed immediately that she subconsciously curled next to Dean. Sometimes she searched for comfort, even with the armour she kept wrapped tightly around her body, like the long sleeves she often wore. “Good morning, Bo. Coffee sounds wonderful.” Alex definitely thought another round sounded fun. She didn’t rush to disentangle herself, but realized how badly her body required stretching. While Bo and the mystery woman appeared to be calm and collected, Dean was ready to have a panic attack. He didn't want to shove Alex off of him, but she didn't seem prepared to move, and well… Still remaining silent and in shock, he lifted the covers to take a peek, and sure enough, he was naked. "Son of a bitch." The phrase slipped out so casually and he just turned to look at Bo. "Where am I, who is she, and why are we in bed together?" Did he somehow get completely wasted and go to bed with these ladies? No. He would never. At least not now, given his current relationship status. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. It only took a moment for Bo to realize what happened. “Ah, you’re the Dean from this universe,” she said. “I guess the brains figured that out overnight.” Or the dome decided to return folks. One of those things. “We had some fun with your multiversal counterpart last night,” she explained. Poor Alex was probably very confused. “She’s Alex. New arrival, so she’s getting an awesome welcome to the insanity of this place.” Alex quickly disentangled herself. She felt her emotional armour engage. Part of her wanted to apologize. She knew how terrible it felt to be forced into sex, although she felt that wasn’t what happened. But the other part of her didn’t want to show any weakness. So she settled for the confusion aspect instead. “Someone...what the fuck is happening? And, yeah, I’m Alex. Hi.” The Dean from this universe? What the fuck Dean did she...well fuck the night before? "What? I'm back home? Seriously?" That was the best news he had heard all week. He was finally out of that fucking hell hole. There was only a slight amount of guilt over the fact that his counterpart had to return, but there was nothing he could do about it. What about Pam and Dan? Eliot too. Had they all made the crossover with him? If he had returned he hoped that Sam had as well. Dean rubbed his hands briskly over his face, now in a much better mood. "Alex, it's good to meet you. Sorry about the confusion, but I am definitely not the guy you went to bed with last night, so…" Was that supposed to make her feel any better? He wasn't really sure. Not thinking about the fact that he was naked, Dean moved to get out of the bed and started to look around for some clothes. "Where are his clothes?" Bo shrugged. “Uh… they might be anywhere between here and the living room,” she said. “We’ll avert our eyes while you look.” There was a slightly teasing lilt in her tone since they’d hooked up before, long ago, when he was a fairly new arrival himself and before he’d gone and settled down. So that he didn’t have to climb over one of them, Bo sat up and shifted her legs over the edge of the bed, not making any effort to cover her own nude body. Once he got up, she turned her attention back to Alex. “Sorry you got thrust right into crazy.” Alex shrugged, but followed Bo’s lead and closed her eyes. She definitely smirked at the ‘between here and the living room’ comment. And then realized “I think I’m sitting on one of your items of clothing.” Alex shifted off the bed, to a standing position, all while still keeping her eyes tightly shut. “I...trust me, this isn’t the craziest thing, but...you’re still the same person as last night, Bo?” Somehow Alex knew she might scream if both people didn’t recall last night. “Does this happen a lot here? People...switching with...other versions of themselves?” "Whatever, it's fine." Bo had already seen him naked before, and while Alex had only seen his twin, they both had the same body, so it didn't make too much of a difference either way. He let out a heavy sigh of frustration and moved back to the bed to grab the pants that had been left by the other version of himself. "I hope you two ladies enjoyed yourselves." Dean stood at the foot of the bed, working his way into the jeans. "If I didn't have someone at home waiting for me, I wouldn't be in a hurry to leave." All he wanted was to see Lisa and tell her how he felt. "I hope you both enjoy your day, but it's time for me to go." He said hurriedly, already going down the stairs for his shirt and shoes. “Lock the door on your way out,” Bo called after him before flopping back on the bed and looking over at Alex. “Weird things happen a lot. Sometimes we get turned into other people. Or other versions of ourselves. There was a whole time travel thing where we had different lives in the 80s. Sometimes there are monsters.” She shrugged. “We didn’t really talk much last night about where you’re from, so I don’t know if you have any experience dealing with the supernatural or paranormal or whatever.” It would help her adjust if she did. Alex jumped back on the bed and considered how to best answer. “Well...recently I attended Yale as...part of a watchdog group to ensure the societies didn’t abuse magic. Before that I lived on the streets. I...can see and talk to ghosts. You stop being believed enough times and certain drugs become your best friends. Originally, though, I hail from California.” She allowed what Bo said about the town to percolate in her brain before she answered. “So, this town is fucked up. Cool. So like generally weird, but maybe funny fucked up, or should I be worrying about drugs that cause people to lose their free will?” After what happened with Mercy, Blake, and the mercinty, Alex felt on edge. She didn’t have Lithe’s knowledge at her disposal here, and she sure as fuck couldn’t communicate with Dawes, Turner, Michelle, or even North. Or could she? Well, North fell under the ‘ghost’ category, so perhaps the rules differed for him. Okay, that was a lot and Bo had a feeling that Alex would do just fine here. “Drugs, no, unless you hang out with Kenny, but that would be by choice. Weird things can be funny, depending on your point of view. A couple weeks ago, a bunch of people’s clothes were replaced with things that were the opposite of their style. Like, my best friend Kenzi? She’s usually kinda goth, really laid back, you know. And she had a closet full of 80s power suits.” That had been amusing for Bo, not so much for Kenzi. “But then things like this happen, where apparently there was some kind of thing that opened a doorway between this version of Madison Valley and another one, where things were dark and dangerous.” Bo was glad that she hadn’t gotten mixed up in this one since it sounded pretty awful. As someone on the recovering drug addict side, Alex thought it best if she avoided drugs for a bit. Pot she could probably handle, but she knew herself well. A drink? Sure. Drugs? Did she really want to fall down that rabbit hole again? Not really. She barely managed survival last time, with the fentanyl that Hallie managed to transfer to Alex’s system. “Man, I bet that annoyed some people! I met Kenzi on the network I think? Her boyfriend dances at The Den?” “Augh that sounds fucking terrible. At least things seem back to normal, based on Dean’s reaction.” Alex brushed her hair out of her eyes. “Yeah, his name’s Kaa,” Bo said. “He is disgustingly devoted to her.” She mocked, but she was glad because Kenzi deserved it. And if he did anything to hurt her, then Bo wouldn’t hesitate to put him in a world of pain. That probably wasn’t something she needed to share with someone she just met though. “Hopefully everyone is okay. I know some of the people who were here from that other Madison would have preferred to stay.” No one was going to let that happen though, not with some of their own trapped over there. Alex...well Alex knew all about hurting someone who hurt her best friend. “She seems nice, so I think it’s great she has someone who is devoted to her.” She removed the hair that fell into her face. “I suppose if people like it here, why wouldn’t they want to stay? Meanwhile, I need to go save Darlington and I’m very much stuck here. Although I love my current view,” Alex smiled. Bo smirked at her. “We can put that coffee on hold,” she said. “Work up an appetite first.” And maybe order breakfast to be delivered since Bo was pretty sure she only had some cereal and, if they were lucky, milk that wasn’t spoiled. |
