Who: Lola and OPEN What: Lola needs some tea after shopping When: Sunday Where: Tea Shop Rating: low
Lola had had every intention of staying inside for as long as possible. Of course, the fact she didn't have a lot in her fridge was really her own fault. Ordering in was nice, but Lola wanted to continue to fit into the dresses she owned and so this would necessitate a trip to the store. Besides, she thought to herself, how bad could it be? There were people from another Madison, but it wasn't like the news had fires and explosions happening in some strange civil war. She'd lived in some less-than-reputable parts of London - this was just like that, she imagined.
She had survived the grocery store without disappearing or turning into something she was not, so she then decided she'd be bold enough to treat herself to a tea and slice of pie from the Tea House. Starbucks was good for a caffeine hit, but she was British after all and she missed her tea.
Walking into the shop was probably a bit jarring for some. She wore a black pencil skirt that landed midway down her thigh, a red blouse, and six inch heels along with four bags of groceries. Despite her muscles in her arms, the bags were cumbersome and she placed the bags on an empty chair without really surveying the situation first. "I hope you don't mind. My arms feel like they were about to fall off."
