Gods, it's not because you're a girl, it's because you didn't do anything. If you had a plan - one better than mine, let's say it, then you ought to have put it into action at once.
You didn't.
And isn't that a lesson in all-or-nothing for me. My plan came perfect close to success, so it did. If I'd been a touch less trusting of the folk from this town, or a scant couple of minutes quicker it would have worked. And there that little gap is the gap between a man's great liberation and a stupid child's failure, as the world sees it. I know that.
I know that but you don't know the first thing about me or my world, and it's your stupidity to pretend that you do.
