Re: Nick and Mia
Oliver gave Nick a nod. Not attacking humans was good, though considering what he had done in the past, he wasn't someone to judge another's past if they made bad decisions either. He didn't think Mia would be with someone who enjoyed murder anyway.
Her father might be dead in her timeline, but it didn't mean she wasn't going to push back on things. She did agree that knowing that would make her give a second thought to having Nick and her stay longer. Still, she stared daggers at her dad for a moment before she looked at Nick. "The League of Assassins is exactly what is sounds like. Run by Nyssa's dad, then my dad, then Nyssa. They were married for a while." She glanced back at her dad and it was definitely partly to make a point.
Oliver looked a little thrown by that. "That's not - yes, technically we were married, but that was a whole different situation and - why are we talking about this?"
Seeing her dad be flustered made him feel human and it was what she needed. That, and she felt like she 'won' that battle. "Nick and I won't stay in town much longer, but if the League shows up with the portal still open you know I'm going to come back and help."
Oliver nodded. "I wouldn't expect anything else. Can you hold your own if you had to?" Oliver looked at Nick, pointedly ignoring the look Mia sent him.
