Who: Phil Coulson and Open What: Carrying on Klara's legacy When: Friday evening Where: Beaver Creek Nursery Warnings: TBA Status: Open/On-going
Phil had needed something to do after losing Klara -- and that'd only intensified after Kitty had been sent home as well. Yes, he had work. And yes, he was working a little too much and a little too hard. That would only get him so far, though, and would eventually end up with at least two people coming after him and nagging him until he changed things a little.
So he'd started taking care of Klara's plants. He'd been looking after them when she was sent home, yes, but Kitty's leaving had given Phil the push to really start caring, not just maintain them so they didn't die. He liked to think both women would be proud of him for that and for solving his problem in a manner that wasn't self-destructive. (Though he was also reasonably certain that neither would have faulted him for the couple days of drinking that he'd started off with.)
And taking care of the plants meant he was a frequent visitor to the nursery by this point, whether it was to pick something up for the plants or just to ask a question. Today, though? Today he was thinking he might actually plant something new. Only he didn't know what, which explained the way he was standing in front of a table of rose bushes, trying to make a decision.
