WHO: Malia Tate and OPEN Nick Sorrentino WHAT: Ugh, rain WHEN: Saturday morning WHERE: Starbucks WARNINGS: Low STATUS: Open/Complete
Malia hated the rain. She hated pretty much any water that wasn't scalding hot, which meant she was pretty much okay only with steaming hot showers and their new hot tub. Spring rains? Not so much.
Still, she'd gone out and caught a few rabbits for the local restaurants she was supplying, because rain or not, they still had to pay their mortgage and the last thing she wanted to do was lose their beautiful house. Then she came home, took a long shower, and changed into the warmest clothes that wouldn't look ridiculous to be wearing in May.
Then she got in her car and headed down to Starbucks to get some steaming hot beverages that could warm her insides as well as her outsides. Unfortunately, it appeared that many other people also had the same idea. It was crowded, and while she pushed her way inside enough that she didn't have to stand in the rain, it annoyed her to wait. She didn't have a choice, however, and the smell of the coffee brewing just feet away was enough to keep her from leaving.
