Teyla hadn't yet interacted with many people in town, but through conversations with her friends she did learn more about their own friends, family, and loved ones - and had heard when Carson's partner had been sent home. She had waited a few days, but when it got to the point that even she recognized he was trying to work to distract himself, Teyla decided to check in on him and after leaving Torren with Ronon, she went out to see him.
When the door opened, she gave him an easy smile of her own. Every time she saw Carson's face, she was reminded of how devastating his loss had been, and how lucky they had been to find the clone of him Michael had created. While she was glad Michael had died, Carson's existence was the one thing she'd been grateful to him for, and thankfully she only felt the faintest pang now, considering how much time had passed.
"My 'fussing' will be limited, I assure you," Teyla said dryly before she stepped in. After a quick glance around, she turned to him. "How are you?"
