"I'll forgive you for that this time," she replied with a small half-crooked grin as she shifted to sit cross-legged beside her son. While many years ago had she'd had a child the sun wouldn't have been a large concern for her, but only a few weeks ago she and Rodney had had a conversation wherein he'd decided to 'educate' her her about the dangers of the son to skin, particularly in someone as young as Torren. With that thought in mind, she had recently purchased some sunscreen and a hat with Sam's help, and even now she pulled a small tube out of his diaper bag and began to apply the lotion to his arms and face. When she was done, Teyla set the hat on his head, then returned her attention to John.
"This was a wonderful idea. I'm glad you suggested it." While in some ways it was still strange to be among so many people who knew nothing of the Wraith and hadn't lived for generations under their threat, she was glad that for the time being, she and Torren wouldn't have to worry and their 'gift' wouldn't make them targets. "Are you enjoying being back on Earth?"
