WHO: Chuuya Nakahara & Irina Romanov.
WHAT: Bringing her coffee.
WHEN: Backdated to after this.
WHERE: River Mill Resort Museum.
WARNINGS: Language cause Chuuya. Probably ftb sex.
STATUS: Closed/Ongoing.

Chuuya had needed some coffee and of course, that damn Babushka wanted some too. At first, he was just going to tell her to get her own or get her assistant to get her some. But in the end, she convinced him to bring her a cappuccino. He figured if she didn't like it or whatever, he'll just throw it in her face.

Well, maybe not. But he'd be tempted to.

He got the coffees and made his way to the museum where she worked. Her assistant (Claudia, was it?) told him Irina was out at the moment. Chuuya rolled his eyes. Of course she wasn't here. Whatever. He was tempted to break into her office and mess it up a bit, but decided to be good for now. Instead, he went to look at some of the artwork while he was waiting.

Her Little Gnat was proving to be useful for more than just an endorphin rush. Claudia had kept Irina updated on his behavior and his irritation levels while Irina got her hair repaired at the salon. She told the stylist to take her time then even stopped to pick up a coffee on her way to the office. When she arrived at the museum, newly coiffed and caffeinated, Claudia directed her to where her Little Gnat was buzzing around.

When she found him, Irina hung back to observe in silence for a few moments. He truly was quite attractive. And despite her protests, she was growing fond of him. Not that she would admit that outside of her own thoughts, and the amusement of her own realization showed on her lips as she walked up to him.

"What do you think?" she asked when she came next to him. She was referring to the art, and not the coffee in her hand.

Every once in awhile, Chuuya would come back to see if Babushka had came back. When she hadn't, he got irritated and went to look at more artworks. A couple times he had nearly went to break down her office door to mess up her desk or do some other payback for making him wait. But he managed to keep calm - or as calm as it was possible for him anyway.

He was glancing at yet another painting when he heard her voice. Despite glaring at her and obviously beyond annoyed, he managed to respond calmly. "It feels sort of dreamlike. Or what I imagine dreams feel like anyway," he replied without really thinking to what he was saying.

He turned to her, finding her annoyingly beautiful. It was easy to ignore that over the network, not so much up close. Then he also noticed the coffee cup in her hand and it wasn't the one he had bought and he immediately yelled loudly. "Are you fucking serious?" A red aura glowed around him and the cup in her hand, pulsing until the cup exploded and spilled coffee all over her.

The tension from him was practically palpable. It pleased the Tsarina. Why, was anyone's guess, other than she could bring that reaction out in people. It was a level of control.

"Interesting," she said, and meant it. Art had always been a fascination of hers. She had been a patron of those that had created the Orthodox icons. It was one reason for her obsession with the Faberge eggs. "They say the artist was a lunatic so perhaps you are not wrong."

She grinned when he finally noticed the coffee in her hand then laughed when it exploded. Showers were amazing inventions, and Claudia could always buy her a new dress. "Tsk. Temper, temper, Little Gnat."

Chuuya did have a short temper, but he hardly ever lost control like that. Sure, he yelled and called people idiots from time to time, but he didn't really make beverages explode or things along those lines. The only person who could bring such a reaction out of him was Dazai, and now apparently this damn woman. Why, he had no idea, and he wasn't sure he wanted to know why.

He hardly heard the comment about the artist, he was too irritated right now. "Don't you 'temper, temper' me, Babushka, after making me wait for almost an hour to give you some damn coffee you didn't even fucking need!"

Oh he was adorable when he was enraged. He reminded Irina of her darling Alexei when he got in a mood. Her amusement showed on the lift of her lips as she stepped out of her heels.

"I never said I needed it," she said as she stepped closer to Chuuya. "I wanted you to bring me one." Then she turned her back to him. "Unzip me."

Chuuya just glared at her. He really wanted to rip her pretty head off. Or something. "If you wanted me to bring you one, why get your own?" Even more annoying was he told her to get her own, but she insisted he bring her one.

He just gave her a 'are you serious?' sort of look. Still, he reached and yanked the zipper down, except he didn't stop where it ended. He just kept going, ripping the dress the rest of the way before brushing past her so he could toss his empty coffee cup in the trash.

"I needed one at the moment." It made sense to her. "Would you have preferred I ask you to bring it to me at the salon?"

The dress was ruined anyway, but she tsked anyway for the destruction of her clothing as mentioned in a previous conversation.

She left the dress where it fell to the floor then stretched her legs to walk past him wearing only her bra and panties. "The museum is closed."

"I don't know, probably," he shrugged.

He rolled his eyes when she made the tsk sound. He didn't care that he wrecked her dress. It wasn't the first time he ripped her clothing, probably wouldn't be the last either.

He glanced over at her. "So it's just us here, huh?" Her little assistant seems to be gone. Had she sent her home while he was busy looking at the artworks? He hadn't even noticed.

"Would you prefer an audience?" Irina smirked over her shoulder with an unmistakable Come Hither look on her face, and put a little extra sway into her hips. "I am the curator of a museum in an entirely uncultured town. It isn't as if patrons are beating down the door for a tour."

"Hors d'oeuvres will be delivered at any moment, along with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc." She glanced back once more. "I hope you like white."

He made a face, both at the question and the fact that he still followed her despite being irritated with her. "No. Guess I didn't see your little assistant go home." Was he really too busy looking at the paintings to have noticed? Probably. "Too bad. People should come and see some of the art here." He did liked art, though he was more into music and other performing arts than visual arts.

"I prefer red, but white's fine."

For the first time, her Little Gnat surprised her. Irina paused, a single brow lifted as she turned to look at him. "Are you an aesthete?" You could knock her over with a feather.

Irina walked back to him as if she were seeing him for the first time. She would accuse him of blowing smoke up her ass except he didn't care enough to do that. Power of deduction told her he was speaking the truth.

No, he wasn't bullshitting her or anything. Come to think of it, he was more honest and himself around her than anyone else in town. Just like when he was with people outside the mafia or doing business deals, he was nice and polite. Around people he was closer to, he tend to yell and lose his temper often. His subordinates didn't mind, though. They knew he cared for them in his own way.

"Sure," he shrugged. "I'm more into music, but I appreciate visual art too. I like anything that sounds, looks, or feels beautiful. Or tastes or smells good."

She could draw a correlation between what he just said and why he spent time with her, but decided to let it go. The arts should never be made fun of.

"Little Gnat, you surprise me." She smiled and for once it held nothing of mockery. "That is not easy to do."

She went silent for a moment then turned. "Come. Refreshments are waiting." As if she wasn't almost naked.

He was silent too for a bit, but it was because he was waiting. Waiting for the "sike!" or the backhanded insult she always had. When it didn't come and she actually seemed sincere, he was the one who was surprised.

"You surprise me too, saying something without any mockery," he said as he followed her. Right, refreshments. He'd briefly forgotten about that and he still kind of did, watching her as she walked with barely any clothes on.

"I'm starting to feel like I'm a bit overdressed here," he smirked a bit as he got some wine.

"Art should never be taken lightly nor mocked, Little Gnat." She was dead serious. Like if she caught someone snickering at a masterpiece she would gut them serious. "Appreciation for art should be encouraged." She smirked. "And rewarded."

Irina led him into her office where a spread was waiting for them. Cheese. Olives. Caviar. Crackers. White wine was chilling in a bucket. "You could remedy that." She stopped to pick up an olive with her fingernails. "Help yourself."

"You really do appreciate art, don't you." It was a genuine observation. While he did appreciate art, he had a feeling it ran much deeper for her. He honestly wouldn't be surprised if she did gut someone for laughing at a masterpiece.

"Maybe later," he said. He did take his jacket off, though since it was beginning to get too warm for that. He reached over and snatched the olive from her fingers, popping it into his mouth before hopping on her desk.

Gut them? No. Pluck their eyeballs out with her fingers? Yes.

"I do," she said in all seriousness. "I was not exaggerating when I said I had been a patron of the artists who made Orthodox icons. They were some of the more beautiful pieces of religious art ever created." Back then her religion had been extremely important so combine her love of art and the church had been perfect.

She smirked for his cheekiness then picked up another olive for herself. "You are lucky my new desk has not been delivered yet."

"They were," he agreed. Maybe if he ever had the chance, he'd go see some of them. A bit unlikely now, but who knows.

He was feeling a bit playful at the moment. No idea why. Maybe it's the wine. Yeah, he'll blame the wine, even though he only had a few sips so far. He reached over, still wearing the black gloves he wore all the time, and hooked a finger under her bra strap in the front, pulling her towards him.

"So it's okay if this one gets broken?" he asked, brushing his finger against the top of her breast. Truthfully, he didn't care if it was okay or not. He'd been wanting to break it since she kept him waiting, when Claudia kept telling him not to go into her office. At least now he might have fun breaking it.

Irina was forming her own plans for those five days a month one could escape this place. There were items she wanted in her possession that she could get while also obtaining pieces for the museum. The limited window of time meant she needed a plan as sharp as a needle.

Her pale blue eyes lowered to the finger threatening her bra then lifted to her Little Gnat as she allowed him to pull her toward him. "Try it and find out," she purred back at him in silky Russian.

It was why he didn't think she'd be able to find any of the Eggs she was looking for. Unless she had a very good plan, he doubted she'd find anything in just five days.

He did knew enough Russian to understand what she said. Even if he didn't really, he didn't mind. He'd never admit it out loud, but he did find it hot when she spoke in her native tongue. Instead of responding with words, he pulled her closer for a kiss.

Sometimes the best plans were ones that spread over a course of time. That was how it was going to have to be if she wanted to find those eggs. Long term. But still solid planning would be necessary.

That would be later, however. Right now she went with the kiss by threading her fingers through his hair. The museum was definitely closed for the day.
