Wes loved libraries. And bookstores. Especially old book stores. And museums. Anywhere that had books and/or old artifacts, really. He loved books, and the older, the better. He missed his personal library from back home. He missed the musty smell of books older than anyone could actually remember, books from cultures and societies long dead and often completely wiped out.
The Madison Valley library wasn't exactly a treasure trove of unique and hard to find books, but there were a few gems tucked into the shelves. Wes made a point to visit often, and usually early in the day when the sunlight was fresh and new, before the world really started sinning around him. There didn't seem to be anything new since he'd been in Madison previous, but he still enjoyed looking, touching the spines, just absorbing the energy the older section of books had to offer.
He nodded and smiled to another man who happened to be in the same section as he was. "Good day," he murmured, his voice a low whisper out of respect for being in a library.
