WHO: Nico di Angelo and Number Five WHAT: Random Meeting/Match-up WHEN: Today WHERE: The Attic WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Closed/Ongoing/Match-up
Nico didn't like people. It was why he tended to avoid Starbucks and come to the Attic instead, which was a smaller, local place, and not as popular as the huge chain. They also had better coffees and teas, if you asked him, not that anyone ever did.
He had some homework to do, and had decided to do it while sitting at one of the tables at this place. He didn't feel like going home, and it was still too cold to go back to his cave. So this was, in his mind, about the only place left.
He'd worked through a couple of math problems when a distinct smell reached him. Usually, he could just smell out the dead, not death clinging to living people. But this guy reeked with it, even though he was very clearly alive. He'd smelled this once or twice, on people who had taken a great deal of life...enough that their souls were tainted by it. But how could this boy - who looked his age or younger - have been around so much death?
Nico stared at him unapologetically as he came inside, closing his math book to keep his eyes instead on the potentially dangerous person.
