Who: Kate Danvers and Scott McCall What: Meeting by accident on a run When: Wednesday March 3rd Where: The Woods Rating: Low
Scott needed some air. The thing with Lydia and Klaus didn’t sit well with him, but he knew this was the only way. Since Lizzie said Klaus was known to keep his promises, he could at least be confident that Klaus wasn’t going to kill Lydia or attack anyone else in the pack. He still hated that it happened at all. He felt a little better after suggesting they meet weekly for dinner. This way he could check in and maybe he could catch anyone’s anger at someone in town before they took matters in their own hands. He knew it was hard for the other werewolves to understand, but having a pack with humans in it meant he couldn’t just growl at them and they’d instinctively listen. Malia and Liam would feel the pull to make sure they got his permission, but Malia and Liam were notorious for taking things into their own hands too back home.
He huffed as he let the thought that maybe he wasn’t a good alpha run through his mind again. This was the same feeling he had when Theo had showed back up to Beacon Hills and he had played all those mind games. Scott had let everyone down then and had almost paid the ultimate price for it. He was determined not to let it happen again here. So he was out running to clear his mind and maybe to remind himself that he wasn’t human anymore - maybe Peter was right that sometimes he thought too much like he was still just human.
He was wolfed out and running through the forest at top speed - speedier than any human could be. He ended up running to an out-cropping where he paused, looking up at the moon. He was panting, but it felt good. His mind was still so clouded, but as he looked at the moon, Scott let out a roar that was filled with pent up energy. Somewhere in the back of his mind he’d have to apologize to anyone from home who was around if they made them shift, but he was out in the forest and maybe his road wouldn’t go too far into town.
Scott turned and kept running full tilt, only slightly looking where he was going.
