Who: Jordan Two Delta and Max Evans What: Having a very awkward conversation When: Tuesday afternoon Where: Max's apartment Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/On-going
Jordan was grateful that the truthiness thing hadn't hit her any harder than it had, but oh Lord did she have a boatload of awkward to deal with. It wasn't that she didn't mean what she'd said to Max -- because of course she'd meant it, obviously -- but that was hardly how she'd wanted to bring the subject up. She would've been happier waiting a while, honestly. Neither of them felt the need to push or hurry things in their relationship, and she wasn't sure what this was going to do for that.
But neither of them was one to run away from a problem, and she didn't know about him but she wanted to face the aftermath sooner rather than later -- which was exactly why she showed up at his apartment in the middle of the afternoon. She didn't have to work and couldn't remember if he did, and River might or might not be home, but there Jordan was anyway.
Taking a breath to steady her nerves -- just because she didn't regret saying it didn't mean she wasn't nervous, after all -- and reached out to knock at the door.
