He smiled, his shoulders relaxing slightly at the reassurance. Some men were too precious about their masculinity not to resent being called beautiful, and while he doubted that this was one such man, it still felt like a risk which had paid off, which was a feeling that he always enjoyed. Besides, it was entirely accurate, he was breathtakingly pretty.
"Well, I hail from 18th century England, originally, although I was a pirate in the Bahamas for twelve years, so I considered Nassau my home, well Nassau or the sea itself. I've been here all of two weeks, and today I got myself a job captaining the Thunder, giving rides to passengers around the lake. It's caused something of an identity crisis for me, taking up honest work after a life of piracy, even though I think that I might very well grow to enjoy it," he smiled.
"Everything about this place is still quite new, but I like to think that I'm adjusting well. I've always been the resilient sort, able to make the best of a situation and get by. And besides... this place is not without its charms and its treasures," he said, giving him a nod and a flirtatious smile, the unspoken implication being that he considered Klaus both.
"What of you?" he asked. "I want to know everything you wish to tell me."
