Not the worst thing Mitch had ever wound up carrying somehow. Also still not the most awkward. Close, but not quite.
"Okay, here we go," he said as he let the snake wrap around him. "This is... hopefully it works." Last thing they needed was him managing to drop the part he was now picking up and carrying.
It took Mitch a split second to figure out where exactly he was taking the snake; he decided on his car because really, a large snake wasn't exactly the strangest thing he'd ever shoved in the back of a vehicle. It wouldn't exactly be the most comfortable thing for the snake, but he'd at least be able to turn the heat on to start warming it up more while he got them to the animal shelter.
Warmth over complete comfort seemed like the wisest course of action at the moment, he decided as they reached his car a minute or two later and he opened one of the back doors.
