Rusty didn't really mind school all that much, even if he didn't see the point in it considering he could go home at any point. He probably could've gotten Peter to home school him, but that kind of felt like taking the easy way out and if there was one thing he didn't do, it was take the easy way out.
So there he was, sitting at the end of one table in the cafeteria, a couple seats away from everyone, more focused on studying than on anything else. He wasn't really good at making friends -- he'd only made friends with Kris because they'd had to work on something together and she was really persistent -- so really, it didn't bother him. Or at least, that was what he told himself. There were times it really, really sucked that everything in the past couple years put him so far apart from everyone else. That kids his age seemed like exactly that -- kids.
Attention divided between lunch and his homework, it took him a moment to notice someone nearby. Rusty wasn't sure if they were coming over or not, but he was pretty sure he knew who the guy was -- Logan, one of the werewolves that'd been at the Pack house, helping decorate for Christmas. Well, as people to bother him went, Logan seemed pretty cool.
