Lydia + Rowan
“You came for all the fun?” Rowan meant that sarcastically but then again maybe Lydia was a fan of the cold. While New Mexico did get a bit cold, it was nothing compared to here. Listening to the woman, she nodded her head at the comment about people being here for years. Rowan felt bad on how people knew her from another time, and Lydia having no idea who they were. Thankfully, it wasn’t something Rowan had dealt with on her end; however, she knew how awkward it was when someone came around who you knew from another time.
“Yeah, some people have been around for a while. I’m sorry you’re dealing with that, it has to be super awkward. Hopefully, none of them are like surprised we were dating or engaged or anything like that,” she could only imagine that would make it even more awkward and annoying. “It’s never easy for both parties in the mess. I know I had my first guardian show back up only looking completely different, and it’s weird.” Taking a sip of her soda, she did the quick math in her head around how long she had been around here. “I think I’m slowly getting close to two years.” And it still felt weird saying that type of stuff even after all this time.
