“It really is. Or maybe I’m just a magnet for all you bastards, I guess we’ll never know,” she let out a sigh like she was super upset about it though in reality she was only messing around. While it was true most of the people back in her world that she knew were bastards, she also knew a few good people who she trusted her life with. Elvis could be an ass at times to other people; however, she knew he’d never let anything bad happen to her even when she was a hard person to kill. Here she had more good people around her than the bastards and what not, which was a nice change.
Nancy shrugged as she took a sip of her drink, waiting for a dramatic pause before answering. “I’m sorry if you can’t handle the truth. But yes, that’s how it is,” she wrinkled her nose, laughing as she leaned back in her seat.
Rolling her eyes at his comment, she shook her head before kicking him under the table. “Shut up. But is there a reason for bringing me here? Cause if not, I got a better idea on what we could do,” she paused, letting his mind do the thinking, knowing it wouldn’t come up with what she was thinking. “How about we go grab some food and go chill back at my place?”
