Sonya was on guard enough to notice the man's eyes, how pale his skin was (nearly reflective), but it could've just been how used she was to non-humans that she'd only react to an actual threat. Appearances meant nothing in that regard.
Unless the guy had one red eye held in place with a metal plate. Then public place or not, she would gladly spend a night in a cell if it meant taking him out.
This guy wasn't him though, so she'd hold off until otherwise.
Cassie looked at the bag, then the ducks, noting how fast they were eating then waddling off. "More popcorn then."
Sonya gave a side-smirk. "Not likely to happen, Cass. Stuffing might not like the company." She faced the young man again. "Stuffing is our cat."
