"Mom, I wasn't always-" he hesitated and closed his eyes at her touch, a tear spilling down his face. In his mind, it wasn't okay, none of it was okay, even though he'd had no control over any of it. Dean inhaled a deep breath and moved to wrap his arms around her in a firm embrace, his face buried in her hair. "I think that maybe, things will be better now." or, at least he hoped so.
His fingers played lazily in her hair and he found himself calming down a little, just by being so close. Even though there had to be another version of him back in his world, he still felt guilty that he wasn't there to do what he should have been doing, saving the world. Instead, he was here, pretending to be on some sort of weird vacation. A place where he was friends with Belphegor, sharing a place with Castiel and Balthazar.
"I think I've told you more than enough for now. Maybe we should head out for the store, now?" He suggested, pulling away from her a little to take a deep breath.
