Friends in Low Places
When House decided to go out and drink, he could only think of one place to go and that was Lou’s. He’d been gone for years, but the place didn’t seem to have change at all since the last time he stepped inside. The very nature of Madison Valley meant change was the only thing that stayed the same. A quick look around, and he didn’t see Drax or Carson. With a shrug, House made his way over to the bar and took a seat. The bartender was new, that’s for sure. Looked like the kid wasn’t even old enough to shave. “I’ll have a glass of whiskey.” House slipped the bartender $20 in advance. It paid to be remembered.
