She was used to him changing slightly when talking about Liam or anyone else in his pack, but it was still strange to be seeing this after so long. At least now, they were closer in age than when she'd first shown up in town. That made things feel less weird for her, at least.

If anything, she was kind of proud of him, and it showed. "I'm working with Stiles' dad at this place called Pathways. It's a youth shelter, usually for kids who are troubled or sent there by social services or probation. I don't know if I want to do that kind of work all the time, though."
