He looked almost instantly relieved when she said yes even if she admitted sometimes Madison Valley wasn't kind to her - that separate thought brought a slight frown to his lips. Scott tried not to dwell on what he couldn't change and focused on her other question with another nod. "Yeah. A lot of times, actually. Even sometimes when things were really bad." Scott had started to try to find happiness even in the smaller of moments between one bad thing and another. Of course it didn't always worked, but you had to find happiness where you could, right?
"I, uh... I actually have a beta now." He hoped she wouldn't judge him too much for that. "His name is Liam. He's a good guy." He just needed guidance. He supposed technically he had two now because he had had to save Liam's girlfriend's life too.
He rubbed the back of his neck and realized he was still standing so he took a seat across from her in a different chair. "I think I know what I kind of want to do after school now too."
