She shook her head slightly at the apology and tightened her arms just a little. It took her a moment to gather her thoughts to reply, and did so after she lifted her head a little to look up at him. "Me too," she finally said. "But - it wasn't your fault. I never want you to think that, Scott. It wasn't." And she'd hold onto that fact as long as she possibly could. It had been her choice to do what was necessary to try and save her friends...and knowing that the silver had been key to winning that fight was the best thing in her opinion.
After another minute, she finally loosened her hold so that she could step back, only to grip his hands and tug him into the house. "Come on - it's cooler inside."
