Nikita shook her head at the young woman. “It’s no problem. We’ve all had our first go around with what this place can do so I’m just glad I could help a bit.” While she was great at helping people when it came to protecting them, having their back, and so on this was a different ball game. This was something she’d never deal with back home, but she still watched out for people and if she could help someone, she did it.
Of course it was powers. A topic she was clueless around, but she was learning more with being around this place. “Have you tried talking to other people with powers around here? You have people around here who might be able to help you not be so on guard when it comes to your abilities,” she offered, hoping the young woman wouldn’t assume Nikita was figuring she would think of that on her own. “Do your powers connect to your emotions?” That was a thing, right? Nikita could have swore she heard that somewhere, and wanted to make sure before offering up a suggestion to Elsa.
Watching Elsa, then hearing her comment about not taking it from her it broke Nikita’s heart. People always feared Nikita and Nikita even feared the monster within her that she kept buried deep down. This girl was sweet and reminded her of a certain close friend of hers. “Why would you think that?” Taking the bowl, Nikita rested her hand gently on Elsa’s, “Hey, I’m not scared of your or what you can do. Matter of fact, if you ever need anything, reach out and I’m happy to help.” This girl could use someone in her corner and Nikita was going to be that person.
