"I'm from a small town too, near the seaside," Chloe said. "Except it was only 2013 when I left, so not that much difference." She only missed a few years of music and films and other events. Not as much as Anne apparently did.
She nodded, not surprised the girl missed home. She did too, even though she'd either die or her entire hometown and everyone in it would die in the storm, depending on the choice Max makes. "What do you find the most fascinating?" she asked curiously.
