Jedikiah was once again wondering if the dome had it out for him. He'd just gotten used to Vanya's siblings -- mostly Allison -- when they'd been sent home. And now her brother was back. As if that wasn't awkward enough, they'd just spent a week in an entirely different decade, not involved whatsoever. It hadn't been all that terrible for him -- he'd been kind of an ass, true, but he'd had a younger sister that he absolutely adored and thankfully Kitty had found it absolutely hysterical upon everything being over -- but Vanya had gotten stuck with a judgmental sister and a different relationship.
Though at least things were going fairly well now. Sort of. There was the whole situation with Klaus to handle, but it was much easier to deal with one problem than an entire set of them. As good as he was at damage control, he preferred to leave that part of his skill set in the past as often as he could. He wasn't that person anymore.
He was, however, still kind of a bastard who was easily amused by the worst things sometimes -- case in point, the fact that Sam Winchester had just walked into the cafe, where Jedikiah had spent most of the day because it was less crowded than Starbucks and it also involved caffeine. The odds were at least better this time that Sam wouldn't freak out at the sight of him, Jedikiah figured -- it was the same Sam that'd been there before. At this point, he'd be grateful for pretty much anything that made the universe work in his favor even the slightest bit.
Then again, this was Sam Winchester. You never really knew.
