Pain was a constant in Cassian's life. Pain reminded him that he was alive and well. He'd arrived at Madison Valley a few weeks after his fight with John Wick. He'd managed to survive thanks to John's careful aim, and a few friends that worked as EMTs and at the hospital. The cops had looked the other way, and not too many questions were asked as to why he had a knife shoved through his chest.
Cassian knew, however, that if he didn't get it checked regularly that things could go from bad to worse, and well, he wanted to make sure that things were still healing nicely. So he stood by the examination table as he waited on the doctor to appear. It was easy enough to find the clinic, and for that he was grateful.
He glanced up as the door opened, a light smile tipping up the corners of his lips. "Nice to meet you, Martha." He shifted slightly on his feet, unsure as to whether or not she was a refugee or a native. It didn't really matter to him either way, but he was increasingly curious about this place. "Where in England are you from?" He asked, a smile still dancing on the corners of his lips.
