Who: Alexandra & Adam Milligan What: Dinner with the family Where: Their home When: Sunday Evening Warning: Probably low Status: Closed/Ongoing
Alex really didn't mean for it to happen. She didn't mean to fall in love, especially not when she was supposed to be working for her homeland. She and her sisters were elite Soviet spies, and yet she faltered. It started out as a friendship, more so on Adam's part. She merely acted the role of friend to assimilate. She dated him because that seemed like the all American thing to do. She'd been ruthless in the past. She didn't think she was capable of loving anyone besides her sisters and her country.
Now they were married...and they had a child. She never expected this relationship to go this far, but it had. She loved her family fiercely and would do anything to protect them. That meant keeping her spy life a secret. They could never know. If they did, they'd be in real danger. She was sure her sisters, especially Wanda, would put an end to everything.
She only hoped she'd never have to choose between her family and her country. If it came down to it, she wasn't sure what she would do. Her loyalty was being pulled in two directions and would soon be tested. As the Mayor's personal secretary, she was getting closer to finalizing her mission. She couldn't think about that now. Her family was her priority for as long as it could be.
"Dinner's ready," she called as she placed a Sunday ham on the dining room table.
For now, she was going to continue to be an American wife and mother.
