"I'd let you take a sample from me, to see if it's the same, cause I'm not him so." Max shrugged. "It might be different." There seemed to be enough differences, that he wasn't convinced his blood would be the same as the Max she knew. He was pretty sure it would be different.
"And you know I'll help you get things under control, insofar as I can." He didn't feel obligated, exactly, but it was something like an obligation. He wasn't from her exact reality, but it was close enough. He felt like he could help her, and because he had a big, compassionate heart and a strong desire to help people when and where he could, he wanted to try and help her.
