Rowan was glad he seemed to not be poking too much at learning about her world. Since while it was fairly normal, she didn’t need to risk having to go into some of the other crap that came from her world. Most people in her own world didn’t understand so why would people here? At least, the topic was being dropped for the time being. “He was just a cop. He went into that line of work after returning from overseas,” which Rowan was glad her dad wasn’t serving anymore. It was nice having her dad around, especially since it meant she didn’t need to be with her mom. “You can always ask around to see who's hiring and get some ideas from that?” She offered, pushing her dark hair back. “Though I probably shouldn’t keep you since I’m sure you got other stuff to do. But like I said you’re welcomed to reach out and we can hang out where it isn’t in a store,” and she meant it cause Rowan knew what it was like trying to find a footing around here.
