John Wick & Natasha Romanoff
"Honestly? The first time I was here I was kept off-balance so long I never recognized any patterns to the dome. No one knows how it all works. I find it works best for me to simply accept things as they happen and adapt accordingly."
John thought back to the first visit he'd made to the domed city. He'd met a superhuman woman whose kindness stunned him. Her openness to help him had resulted in a quick adjustment period even while considering he wasn't just another resident.
He was John Wick. Baba Yaga. The Boogeyman.
John shook his head ruefully, "I adapt quick. Not as quick as some might think -I don't buy into my own myths- but I can keep up better than the average civilian. Amber has been nice. Nicer than a lot of the places the dome took me last time. I'm grateful nothing is immediately trying to eat me or kill me. Royals seem less intimidating in comparison, if you can imagine?"
Something told John she could imagine exactly what he meant.
