Who: Theo Raeken & Open What: Lunch When: Tuesday afternoon Where: Chinese place Warnings: TBD Status: Open/Ongoing
Even though Theo had only been working in the landscaping industry for a few months, he'd figured out one thing very quickly. The days before and after a holiday were the busiest. People wanted their yards to look great for the parties that were thrown, and then needed things fixed after fireworks, kids, and drunk friends.
He still wanted to know how one drunk human had taken out three large evergreen bushes. And why no one stopped the drunk madman from pulling them up. It would be a question that was never answered.
The really amazing thing was how zen he got about doing the work. Who knew yard work could be meditative? It was though, he could put in his air pods, turn up the music, and just tune out the world while he worked. This job was the most calming thing he'd done in years, and he was actually enjoying it.
And the good tips meant that he would splurge on lunch more often than not. Which was why he was sitting outside the chinese restaurant, enjoying the day, with a pretty huge spread for lunch. And there was an open chair at his table even.
