Who: Jesse Custer, Zari Tomaz, and their daughter. Where: Jesse's house. When: Sunday, May 3. What: Surprise! Kid. Warnings: Likely low.
Jesse had woken up early that Sunday morning, mainly because he had heard a young girl's voice speaking to Aiden. He blinked a few times, making sure it wasn't his imagination. Or a remnant of a dream, or something. But no, it definitely wasn't. There was a child in this house, a child that hadn't been there the night before. He knew it was likely some malarky the Dome had cooked up, and he found himself less than surprised when he walked into Aiden's room and found a girl peering into Aiden's crib, speaking to the young boy.
"Hello," he said, a bit cautiously. The girl spun around, and beamed at Jesse. "Daddy!" she exclaimed, and darted toward him. She leaped into his arms, her own arms wrapping around his neck in a tight hug. "Where's Mommy? Is she here?" Jesse had to laugh softly at the enthusiasm of the young girl, then peered at her. "Is Zari your mother?" he asked, and she nodded a bit at his question.
"Well, let's get you some breakfast, and I'll get her here." He set down the young girl, and quickly sent a text to Zari, informing her of their daughter. He got Aiden out of the crib, and headed into the kitchen to feed the two children. "Mommy will be here soon."
