Elsa was up early. She had a morning shift at the gelato shop and did not want to be late. She was still becoming use to using the bathing equipment in this world. It was...very different than what she'd experienced back home. The entire internal plumbing system was far advanced than Elsa's kingdom. The first time she'd switched the shower on, she'd been so startled that she practically fell over her own feet. Since then, she'd become accustomed to the sudden spray and the instantaneous switch from freezing cold to blazing hot. Of course, there remained plenty of other things that Elsa had yet to become familiar with. Everyday was a new experience, sometimes exciting and sometimes frightening and startling.
She was about to experience the latter this morning. Having dressed in her uniform for the shop, Elsa had finished braiding her hair when she heard a thump in the living room. Frowning, Elsa padded her way into living room, looking around with wide, wary eyes. There was a young boy with a splash of blond hair that reminded Elsa of her own. The boy turned, a smile on his face, and Elsa took a step back, a startled expression on her face. Who was this child in her apartment? "Who-who are you? How did you get in?" The boy looked at her, clearly confused at her statement. "Mom, why are you being silly? Is Madison Valley being weird again?" Elsa looked down, the temperature dropped in the room, but then, it rose again. Her blue eyes shifted to the pale boy again.
Powers? The boy had powers? Powers opposite hers? Now, Elsa was really confused. "Mom? You're my...son?" The boy nodded. "Where's daddy?" Of course, there had to be a father, didn't they? Elsa swallowed. "...Whose your dad?" Elsa asked softly. The child giggled. "Mom, you're being silly. Daddy is Qrow." Qrow? The man from the fair? He said they were friends, but they had a son? Obviously, they were more. Fingers trembling, she punched in a network post for Qrow and waited.
