Jack was on a small fold out chair by the riverbank with a fishing pole in his hand and a cooler by his side. This particular river wasn't teeming with fish, but a lot of the time, Jack didn't want to catch fish. He did on the weekends that John joined him, but most of the time Jack was happy with casting his line and just enjoying the moment.
Of course what he hadn't expected was a dog bounding out of the bushes and towards him. Jack liked dogs and he smiled as he reached out to pet the dog. "Hey there." The dog seemed friendly, wagging its tail, and after a few moments of doting upon the animal, Jack looked up and around for the owner. That's what he spotted the man on the bench. Jack offered a nod. "She yours?"
