Who: Eleven and Diana Meade What: Eleven's Arrival Where: In town When: Saturday Warnings: TBD Status: Closed
She couldn't say exactly what happened. It felt a lot like stepping into the Upsidedown. Everything changed, even the air around her seemed to shift. She blinked and looked around. Eleven found herself standing in a quaint little town, with a fountain and what she could only assume was a classic town square. The shops around her looked inviting, the smells from the restaurants more so. Music was playing somewhere in the distance and seemed to be a live performance.
She turned in a circle, slowly, taking it all in. She had no idea where she was, or how she'd gotten here. It didn't feel like the Upsidedown, it wasn't dark and ominous. The sun was shining bright and the temperature felt pretty mild. Still, she tugged her flannel closer around her neck, and wished like hell Hopper or Mike was here with her. Mike would reassure her in his own way, but Hopper would tell her everything would be all right, and then he'd take charge and figure out what was going on. The thought of her guardian made her heart ache, and she drew in a breath to try and stop her eyes from welling up.
The fact was, Hopper wasn't here, and Mike wasn't here. Max wasn't here, Joyce wasn't here. Eleven was on her own. She squared her shoulders and started walking toward the music. Someone somewhere ought to be able to tell her where she was, if nothing else.
